Ice Skating Jewellery FAQ's
How do you personalise Ice Skating Jewellery?
Ice Skating Jewellery is sent away to be precisely laser-engraved with your chosen words and symbols. This takes around 1 week.
Can you personalise in a different language?
Ice Skating Jewellery can be personalised in non-roman languages such as Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, and Hindi.
Non-true-type fonts may incur an additional charge for the artwork set-up. Please contact us for more information before ordering.
A mock-up of the personalisation will be sent via email for confirmation before engraving can commence.
I want a piece personalised with something that isn't letters?
Standard symbols such as hearts, stars, snowflakes etc are fine, as are any symbols found on a standard QWERTY keyboard, such as @ # & £ $ and accents on names.
Any symbol that is not a standard or special character may require artwork and will incur an extra charge.
Contact us if you need more advice.
What’s my bracelet size?
The perfect bracelet fits loosely so it moves a little, but is not loose enough to slide off the hand. One or two fingers should be able to slide under the bracelet when worn.
To measure your wrist:
Use a tape measure or a strip of paper or ribbon. Wrap it around your wrist where you would normally wear a bracelet. If you are using a strip of paper or ribbon, mark the end of the strip and measure the length in centimetres. This is your wrist size. Add 1-2cm and this is your size.
Repairs
My necklace chain got caught and broke?
Not to worry, accidents happen. It's much more important to be honest, as it helps to know this when I repair your chain.
I can repair it for you for a small fee, which includes postage. I will even give your jewellery a bit of a clean while I'm at it.
Contact for details on how to return your item.
I accidentally bent my ear post and it broke. What should I do?
If the earring post has broken after being bent, don’t worry! Accidents happen, and I'm here to help.
Please contact me with details of the item and any photos of the damage. I will assess the situation and let you know if it’s possible to repair or replace the earring.
In the future, I recommend handling your earrings with care to avoid bending the posts, as they are delicate by design.
If you need any advice on caring for your jewellery, feel free to get in touch.
What should I do if I’ve damaged my jewellery and believe it’s a fault with the craftsmanship?
I take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of my handmade jewellery and every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves my workshop to ensure it meets the highest standards.
If you’ve damaged your jewellery and believe it may be due to a fault in the craftsmanship, please email me at diana@dianagreenwood.com with details and photos of the damage. I’ll review everything to determine whether the issue is related to a manufacturing fault or caused by wear and tear or handling.
Please note that damage due to negligence or misuse isn’t covered by my policy, but I’m happy to discuss repair options wherever possible. Handmade jewellery requires careful handling, so if you need any care advice, feel free to reach out!
